60s Brown Striped Maxi Dress - L
This simple maxi is a fall palette colour block, the sleeveless bodice is a dark, cool brown, and the skirt is made up of vertical stripes of the same brown, orange and white, with a waistband of white between the two. All of the fabric is moderately stretchy to stay well fitted. The chest is darted on the sides, and the skirt has as slight flare. It closes in the back with a zipper and two hook and eyes to give you a hand. The dress has two string-thin belt loops on each side, and comes with a white faux-leather belt with a circular buckle covered in the same white faux leather. But the dress is beautiful with or without.
The dress measures 4.5" across each shoulder strap, 40" around the chest, 32" around the waist, 56" around the hips, 45" around the hem, 18" around the arm hole, and has a total length of 55" from the top of the shoulder to the hem. The belt measures 35" in length.
The original belt was missing so we adopted this vinyl number. It’s slightly warped and the glue keeping the edges folded over has let go in some spots. It’s a nice match in colour though and may need some length adjustment which would be simple, or add your own fave belt!
