1960s J Pottel & Sons Light Blue Patent Leather Handbag
This gorgeous light mint-coloured patent leather handbag was made in Quebec, Canada in the 60s for J Pottel and Sons.
The bag is a very sleek design, with a super smooth patent leather exterior and gold metal details. The clasp is in impressively good condition, very easy to open and snap closed. Inside, the bag is lined with a black faux leather and has one patch pocket just below the manufacturer’s logo.
The bag is in incredible condition for its age, with just a few scratches and one tiny stain on the handle. The left side panel of the bag has a small hole, as pictured, and there is some minor discolouration on the handle from carrying.
The bag is approximately 11” x 8” x 2” on the exterior, with an interior storage space of about 9” x 7” x 2”.
